Above are the GFS MOS Projected lows for Tuesday morning for the region (NOTE this map includes more cities than previous maps). Readings will be below zero throughout most of northern and NE Iowa (where the heavy snow will fall tonight into Saturday), most of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Where snow is not likely to fall (the SW), readings will be in the upper single digits or lower teens. Highs will be effected as well although not seen here, highs both Monday and Tuesday of next week are expected to be in the teens in the North and NE, with mid to upper 20s South and West. As always with model runs, these may change a few degrees or two, but it’s been persistent over the last few days.
