The latest GFS Model Run is showing a possible large storm system affecting the state and most of the midwest on Veteran’s Day into Friday of next week. Most of the precipitation will be in the form of rain with possibly a few embedded thunderstorms possible. However on the northwestern side of the storm, northwest of the low. There is a chance that the precip will be in the form of wet snow. It’s too early to determine whether this storm will dump a large amount of rain and or snow, or if it will be gone on the next model run (it has been seen off and on the last few runs). In any case, we’ll keep updating the latest on this possible storm for next week.
