Temperatures early this afternoon are frigid across the state. Temperatures will rise a few more degrees before the end of the day, but highs will be about 5-10 degrees below the average for this time of year. The only good thing is that today will be the coldest of the next 7, as a warmup is in store. By Sunday, highs will approach or top 60°, with 60s likely into the early part of next week before a slight cooling trend takes hold to end the week.
