All of Iowa

Lucked out

The state of Iowa went unscathed during possible severe weather last night with only one warning in Jackson and Clinton counties shortly before 6am. However a widespread severe weather event is now taking place to the east. Tornado Warnings are in effect along a squall line from southern Michigan all the way to northern Mississippi. Many of the storms are moving at 55-70mph and could produce rain-wrapped tornadoes.

The wind however has come as advertised across the state. Winds have already gusted to near 60mph in some locations and will continue the rest of the day and possibly Wednesday as well.
