Seems like summer doesn’t want to end across the state and the upper midwest this year. Temperatures this past weekend were at or near record highs for the date. Readings today were in the 70s outside of the clouds and widely scattered showers and sprinkles that occurred in the western sections of the state today. A cold front will move into the state tomorrow bringing seasonal temperatures back to the state on Wednesday and Thursday before readings rebound back to levels typically seen around Labor Day rather than Mid-October. A slight chance of rain exists again on Tuesday, which will be followed by another long streak of dry and warm weather. Farmers will have several more days to get their crops harvested.
