A real cool morning is in store for the state tonight and tomorrow morning. Some locations, especially in the eastern sections of the state and in river valleys prone to cooler conditions, may drop into the upper 30s by morning. Some light frost is possible in areas that may drop into the mid 30s, but no damage will be done to any plants that are left outside. Frost and Freeze Advisories have been issued as far south as central Wisconsin where lows will dip close to the freezing mark (including Sparta and Camp Douglas on the upper right corner of image). It won’t be much longer before the first frost moves into the state as the average first frost date nears.
