Temperatures are MUCH warmer this afternoon than 24 hours due to a warm front that moved through the state last night. Temperatures across the state late this afternoon are in the upper 80s to lower 90s with heat indices approaching 100 in some locations. This is much different than the 50s and 60s of Sunday. This will continue into Tuesday before a cold front sweeps through with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of those storms could be severe.
