A Tornado Watch was issued during the middle of the afternoon through 11pm tonight for areas of southwestern Iowa. The main threats along with tornadoes will be from large hail and damaging straightline winds. Severe storms will continue to move into the rest of the state of Iowa later tonight, with the threat diminishing after Midnight. Heavy rainfall is possible with some of the storms, but flash flooding is not antcipated at this time.
