The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms for the Upper Midwest, including all of the local 6 county area. Thunderstorms will develop in 2 waves Tuesday, one moving through in the early morning hours Tuesday, the other moving through Tuesday Afternoon after 1PM both waves will have the chance to bring severe weather, but the best chance of severe storms will come in the afternoon. The main threats will be large hail, and damaging winds, a tornado threat is also there. People in the area should be aware there is a risk of Severe Weather Tuesday.
