After several days of dry and somewhat comfortable weather, rain and possibly some severe weather is forecast to return to the state Tuesday through Thursday. Some of the storms could also produce heavy rainfall as well. Some flash flooding is possible but isn’t expected to be widespread given the recent dryspell. Drier and cooler weather will follow this storm system for the Labor Day Weekend.
