Heat and Humidity will continue again on Monday with highs in the 80s and dewpoints in the 60s to around 70°. Monday will be the last day for a while of the heat and humidity of summer as a cold front will move into the state early on Tuesday brining not only a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms to the state, but a taste of fall. highs beginning on Wednesday will be in the 70s with lows possibly dropping into the upper 40s. This may possibly be the first time since mid-May that temperatures have dropped below 50 degrees. We’ll wait to see if this pans out, but cooler weather is on the way, just in time for the first full week of school.
