A few early afternoon storms continue to move through the state. They aren’t severe at this time, but that could change in the next few hours as a slight risk of severe weather includes the eastern 3/4ths of the state. The main risks from the storms this afternoon into tonight will likely be damaging straight line winds, with some isolated large hail. There is also a threat of heavy rainfall (which seems to be typical of any storms the last 3-4 months). A Flash Flood Watch has been issued in SE and EC Iowa for that.
