Monday has been another fine day across the state. Temperatures have been mild with readings in the 70s and lower 80s with low humidity. There has been an increase in cloudiness throughout the day and now some showers and thunderstorms have fired across eastern Nebraska late this afternoon. Some of the storms have been severe, but they should stay mainly west of the state this afternoon and evening. However, the chances of rain will move into the state during the overnight hours, with some chances of rain lasting through the day on Tuesday. It will not be an all day nor will the rain be heavy in any way. Wednesday will see another sun filled day, with highs in the upper 70s to middle 80s before showers and thunderstorms move back in again on Thursday through Saturday.
