The Storm Predicting Center in Norman,Oklahoma has issued a Slight Risk for parts of the Upper Midwest including Eastern ND, Northeast SD, Central MN and Western WI, including my entire 6 county coverage area. Thunderstorms are expected to develop in the afternoon along a Strong warm front in parts of SD,ND and Western Minnesota. These storms will develop into a fast Southeast moving line of storms that will push through Minnesota and approach our local area after 4PM this afternoon it looks like. This line of storms could have an enhanced threat for severe wind gusts. This will likely make the highest threats High winds, and a chance for brief tornado’s. The SPC has a 30% chance of severe wind that covers the entire local area. People across the local area should be aware we have an enhanced threat for severe weather This Evening.
