A line of showers and thunderstorms are beginning to move into the state from southern Minnesota. They are quickly moving to the SE around 30 mph. These storms aren’t expected to be severe, but may bring brief wind gusts to 40mph and some brief heavy downpours, though heavy flooding rain is not expected (except for some slow moving storms near Sioux Falls that may effect NW Iowa over the next hour or so) These storms will move out of the state early tomorrow morning with another round possible in SE Iowa in the afternoon before cooler drier weather returns again to the state for Thursday.
