SOUTHERN FAYETTE COUNTY IN NORTHEAST IOWA…
SOUTHERN GRANT COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN…
* UNTIL 300 AM CDT FRIDAY
* AT 900 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THAT THUNDERSTORMS ARE GOING TO CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST ACROSS
THE SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF GRANT…CLAYTON…AND FAYETTE COUNTIES
THROUGH AT LEAST MIDNIGHT. THESE AREAS HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED
ANYWHERE FROM AN INCH AND HALF TO FOUR INCHES OF RAIN. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED BETWEEN 9 PM AND
MIDNIGHT.
* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO
OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE…
OELWEIN…PLATTEVILLE…ARLINGTON…CASSVILLE…CUBA CITY…
DICKEYVILLE…FAIRBANK…HAZEL GREEN AND STRAWBERRY POINT.
IN ADDITION…THIS FLOODING WILL LIKELY AFFECT RESIDENTS ALONG THE
PLATTE RIVER…FRENCH CREEK…LOUSIBURG CREEK…AND INDIAN CREEK
IN GRANT COUNTY…AND LITTLE TURKEY…PINE CREEK…RABBIT
CREEK…AND BEAR CREEK IN CLAYTON COUNTY…AND BRUCE CREEK IN
FAYETTE COUNTY.
