The Storm Prediction Center has outlooked a slight risk of severe weather for today and tonight for most of the state of Iowa. The main risks of severe weather today will be large hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado or two. Heavy rain is also possible as well. Storms will likely develop later this afternoon as a cold front is expected to move into the state. Storms will likely peak in intensity in the evening hours with some diminshing through the evening and into the overnight hours.
