Skies this afternoon have been mostly sunny to partly cloudy statewide. A few showers and thunderstorms have popped up in Wisconsin and northern Illinois, but they will not effect any parts of the state this evening. There is a slight risk of severe weather for the rest of the afternoon and evening in the far northwestern parts of the state. A Watch has already been issued in South Dakota until later tonight. A few storms may move into northwestern Iowa later toinght and may have the capability of producing some large hail and damaging winds. A more enhanced severe weather threat is in effect for Sunday with most of the state under a slight risk, with large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes possible. Heavy rain is not out of the question either which may prolong or enhance current ongoing river flooding across the eastern and southeastern portions of the state. Another round of severe weather is also possible by Tuesday into Wednesday
