* AT 1207 AM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR GALVA…OR 12 MILES NORTH OF IDA GROVE…AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…ODEBOLT…SAC CITY…LAKE VIEW…SCHALLER…EARLY…NEMAHA AND WALL LAKE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WINDS…FALLING TREES AND FLYING DEBRIS. MOVE INDOORS AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. IF YOU ARE IN A MOBILE HOME…SEEK SHELTER IN A REINFORCED BUILDING.
