Thunderstorms are only about an hour away from completely leaving the state. Severe thunderstorm warnings remain in effect in SE Iowa for the next 30-45 minutes. Cities in the path are Burlington, Fort Madison and Keokuk. Strong straight line winds will be the main threats as there have been wind that have gusted over 70mph further to the west. After the storms move out of the state, skies will clear (as they already have in most of the state) and a few days of quiet and DRY weather will arrive.
