Severe Thunderstorm Watch #388 until 6am

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective until 6am Wednesday morning for the following counties, Adair, Adams, Appanoose, Audubon, Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Cass, Cerro Gordo, Chickasaw, Clarke, Crawford, Dallas, Davis, Decatur, Emmet, Floyd, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Howard, Humboldt, Jasper, Kossuth, Lucas, Madison, Mahaska, Marion, Marshall, Mitchell, Monroe, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Polk, Poweshiek, Ringgold, Sac, Story, Tama, Taylor, Union, Wapello, Warren, Wayne, Webster, Winnebago, Worth and Wright.

Thunderstorms have fired in the northwestern part of the state this evening. These storms along with storms that are set to move into the western parts of the state in the next few hours will have a possibility of having large hail, damaging straight line winds and even a few isolated tornadoes especially early on. More Warnings will be forthcoming throughout the night.
