* AT 1105 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS OF AROUND 60 MPH OR HIGHER. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 5 MILES WEST OF UNDERWOOD…OR 14 MILES NORTHEAST OF OMAHA…AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 55 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE… UNDERWOOD…LOGAN…MINDEN…PERSIA…SHELBY…AVOCA…WALNUT…HARLAN…MAGNOLIA…NEOLA…WOODBINE…HANCOCK…PORTSMOUTH…TENNANT…PANAMA…NISHNA BEND RECREATION AREA…WESTPHALIA…PRAIRIE ROSE STATE PARK AND KIRKMAN.

THE WARNED AREA INCLUDES INTERSTATE 80 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 17 AND 8.

THE WARNED AREA INCLUDES INTERSTATE 29 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 66 AND 75.

THE WARNED AREA INCLUDES HIGHWAY 59 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 58 AND 80.
