The Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO watch until 10pm for the following counties, Appanoose, Davis, Lucas, Mahaska, Marion, Monroe, Wapello, Wayne, Cedar, Clinton, Des Moines, Henry, Iowa, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren and Washington. Thunderstorms have begun to develop in the southeastern portions of the state with a confirmed tornado already in Van Buren County a few minutes ago. Along with the possibility of tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds will also be threats with any storms.
