All of Iowa, Severe Weather

Moderate Risk Again Today

There is a moderate risk of severe weather again mainly this afternoon and tonight across the entire state. The secondary threats will be large hail and isolated tornadoes (mainly west of I-35), but strong damaging winds will the main threat statewide today from thunderstorms that will develop. Another MCS/Derecho event is possible if not likely. Along with the severe threat, heavy rain is a definite possibility along with flash flooding.
