* AT 1024 AM CDT…LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 9 MILES NORTHWEST OF MARSHALLTOWN TO 7 MILES SOUTH OF PRAIRIE CITY…AND MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.
THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WINDS OVER 70 MPH AND TREE DAMAGE.
