The Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO Watch effective until 9pm for the following counties, Audubon, Calhoun, Carroll, Cass, Cerro Gordo, Crawford, Emmet, Greene, Guthrie, Hancock, Humboldt, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Webster, Winnebago, Worth, Wright, Harrison, Monona, Pottawattamie, Shelby, Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Ida, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, Plymouth, Sioux and Woodbury.

Thunderstorms are expected to fire shortly along a cold front that is moving through the eastern portions of Nebraska and South Dakota this afternoon. These storms will have the capability of producing not only large hail and damaging winds, but some tornadoes as well (Possibly even long tracked VIOLENT ONES).
