A large complex of thunderstorms have moved through the eastern part of the state this morning into this afternoon. Numerous flash flood warnings have been issued across this part of the state.

As of Mid-Afternoon, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Benton, Linn, Jones, Jackson, Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine and Scott counties remain under flash flood warnings through late this afternoon or this evening. Rain continues to fall across the eastern part of the state, although at a much lighter rate than earlier.

This will be the last day of heavy rain until Thursday, as tomorrow (Wednesday) is expected to be dry statewide.

NOTE: As of 3:30pm all the flash flood warnings have been cancelled (except eastern Benton and Western Linn counties near Palo).
