All of Iowa, Flooding

Drying Out, But Flooding An Issue

The rain is almost out of the state this afternoon after dropping copious amounts across the state. Numerous creeks and streams have flooded across the southern part of the state. Numerous Flash Flood Warnings have been issued along with river flood warnings as well. This won’t be the last complex of thunderstorms however as another complex is expected to move back into the state later tonight into Sunday morning, possibly bringing another 1 to as much as 3 inches more to areas that have already received 1-2 inches just today. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for SE Iowa through Sunday morning.
