There have been numerous reports early this evening of funnel clouds across the central parts of the state including at least two that made brief contact with the ground.

One of the brief touchdowns was south of Story City at 6:10pm and another 20 minutes later south of Zearing in NE Story County. Below are the reports of funnels and brief tornadoes this evening.
