Isolated Storms in NE Iowa

A cluster of strong thunderstorms continues moving through the northeastern parts of the state this afternoon. Heavy rain and some small hail is possible with these storms as they move mainly north of US Hwy 18 east of Decorah and West Union. The storms will move into southwestern Wisconsin between Prarie Du Chien and Genoa in the next 30-45 minutes. The rest of the state remains dry at this time.

The next chance of severe weather returns to the state on Friday. A slight risk has already been hoisted for the southeastern half of the state for that day. It will likely be similiar to the event yesterday with less of a chance of tornadoes possible.
