The Storm Prediction Center in Norman,OK has continued a slight risk of severe weather for a large portion of the Upper Midwest This afternoon and evening, the primary risk will be in western Iowa, where Large hail, Damaging winds and tornado’s are possible. But areas north of this area in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin may also have severe thunderstorms, with the main threats at this time being Strong winds, hail and heavy rain. People in the area should be aware that severe storms are possible this afternoon and even across the local 6 county area, but especially Central and southern parts of my blog coverage area.
