All of Iowa

A Few Notes

A few notes this evening, The slight risk for severe weather still covers the entire state tomorrow and tomorrow night. The storms will hold off until late afternoon into the evening and overnight hours. The main threats will be large hail and damaging winds with isolated tornadoes also possible. Heavy rain can also be expected with any storms that move through a locale.

The forecast videos that have begun on the blog will be weekend ones for the time being as they take a long time to produce all the graphics (which I do by hand) and take a long time to create. The 52 city 5 day planner will be shelved, the 5 Day Planner will be squeezed into the 9 regions of the state with any new video that is produced (NC, NW, NE, EC, SE, SC, SW, WC and C). These will be produced most likely on Thursday’s for the summer with more emphasis on Holiday Weekends like July 4th and Labor Day Weekend and any events that are occurring (Like State Fair, any races at Iowa Speedway). These will also be used for the Weekend Football Forecast in the Fall as well.
