A line of slow moving thunderstorms was continuing to move slowly eastward across the state this evening. The thunderstorms were along a line extending from Northwood to Mason City to Marshalltown and from near Oskaloosa to Kirksville MO. Heavy rain will be the main threat with these slow moving thunderstorms as the severe weather threat has waned for the time being. These storms will continue slowly moving eastward for the next few hours before dissipating late tonight or early tomorrow morning.
