The GFS MOS run last night is showing fairly warm weather moving in this weekend across the state and the upper midwest. Several locations may hit or exceed 90 degrees on Sunday and into early next week. Along with the heat, humidity will also be around, so heat indices may approach 100 degrees beginning Sunday and lasting into the early part of next week. AC’s will be in overdrive starting this weekend and this is a good chance to turn it on now, (before the heat wave) to make sure it is in good working order. Better to know now then find out later this weekend into next week when you may not be able to get it repaired in due time.
