No real changes from the post yesterday in regards to the weather forecast over the next couple of days. Temepratures will continue to warm into the 70s and 80s as we get closer to the weekend. There is still a chance of some scattered light rain on Thursday night into Friday and then again on Sunday into Monday. Along with the summer-like readings will come the summer-like humidity. Higher dewpoints are also forecast to move back into the state by the end of the week into the weekend. This will also bring back the dreaded “heat index”. Although heat indices will remain in the 80s (with a few locales possibly getting over 90), the air will feel a lot more humid than it has been, which will lead to many turning on the air conditioners for the first time this season. This would be a good time to check your AC now before it’s too late.
