All of Iowa

Not Done with Rain Just Yet

The first round of rain has moved out of the state today, with only a few sprinkles or mist hanging back. Rainfall from the first round of rain (last night into this morning ranged between .25 and 1.25+ across the state with the heaviest in southeast Iowa. Another round of rain will move back into the state Wednesday into Thursday as another storm system moves in from the west. Severe Weather is not likely but there is a slight risk of severe weather for Wednesday across the southeastern portions of the state. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threats with any storms that move into the state. The better chances however will be just to the south in Missouri into eastern Kansas.

Drier and warmer weather will return for the weekend into early next week with highs jumping back into the 60s by Saturday and Sunday and low-mid 70s by early to middle of next week.
