A line of gusty showers and isolated thunderstorms were moving through the state this evening. The line extended from Lansing to West Union to Aplington to Ames to Dallas Center. These showers are moving to the east around 30-35mph. Ahead of this line is the cold front, which will shift the winds to the northwest. Gusty winds up to 50mph will be possible with these showers as they move through. They will begin to dissipate in the next 1-2 hours as the sun sets.
