Strong gusty southerly winds have been blowing most of the day in the western half of the state. A Wind advisory is in effect through this evening for a number of counties in those areas. Sustained winds have been in the 15-30mph range with gusts approaching and even exceeding 40mph at times. The stonrg gusty winds will move across the entire state tonight and into Thursday as a storm system approaches from the west. Another wind advisory is possible on Thursday with winds sustained at 15-25mph with gusts to 40mph+ once more.
