Quiet Beginning to the Week

A few quiet and dry days are in the forecast for the state over the next couple of days. Outside of a scattered showers mainly in the western half of the state tonight into Monday, skies will be partly to mostly sunny statewide through at least Thursday.

Temperatures will be below average at the beginning of the week by 2-6° with highs in the low to mid 60s and lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s. A few valley locations may get a touch of frost Tuesday and Wednesday morning. The next chance of rain will move in late on Thursday and will be around Friday through next weekend. Severe Weather may be possible late Thursday into Friday, but no risk has been outlined in the state as of yet.
