A Few Storms Possible

A weakening front will move into the state today bringing with it a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly to the northwest half of the state. One or two of them may become briefly severe with large hail and damaging winds, but no widespread severe weather threat exists as of now. The showers and thunderstorms will move into the eastern part of the state for Thursday with no severe weather likely then either.

Temperatures behind the weakening front will settle back close to average with highs dropping back into the 60s to around 70 for the upcoming weekend after highs today in the upper 70s to mid 80s.
