Here is the latest GFS MOS Data with the forecasted highs for Wednesday through Friday. A change is that a cold front is expected to bi-sect the state Friday and stall as a new low pressure system develops in the Texas and OK Panhandle. Thunderstorms will be likely late Friday into Saturday with a slight chance of storms in western Iowa Thursday with the first low pressure system that will swing the aforementioned cold front through most of the state by Friday. It’s still too early to determine if any severe weather will be possible but given the temperature differences on Friday across the area, it will not be surprising.
