Rain in the South

Temperatures at 3pm Wednesday

Rain was falling mainly along and south of US Hwy 30 this afternoon. Temperatures have been held down into the 40s and lower 50s in the southern part of the state mainly due to this, while the northern part of the state has been receiving some sunshine today, boosting temperatures well into the 50s. The rain is expected to stay mainly south of US Hwy 20 tonight as the storm moves to the south of the state. Amounts will be light, with many locations receiving less than a quarter of an inch. Another chance of rain will move in on Saturday and Sunday.
