Dry Front Moving Through

Temperatures at 2pm

A Dry front is moving through the state this afternoon with no more than a wind shift to the NW. Temperatures in the western part of the state where the winds have already shifted are only a few degrees cooler but are still well into the 50s. The air behind the front is the same as ahead of it. Dewpoints across the state this afternoon are mainly in the upper 20s and 30s, whereas yesterday the readings were in the teens and lower 20s.

Clouds will be moving into the state later tonight ahead of a storm system that will be mainly staying to the south of the state on Wednesday, however there is a chance of light rain mainly in the southern counties through Wednesday night before the storm moves off to the east. Otherwise the best chance of rain statewide will hold off until the weekend.
