There was also more cloudiness in the western part of the state as well, while the eastern side had bountiful amounts of sunshine. No snow plus lots of sun equals a very warm day. Something to look forward to if you still have some snow left on the ground.
There is a slight chance of rain tomorrow night into early Wednesday. There could be a snowflake mixed in with the rain but amounts will be light with a tenth of an inch being the heaviest amounts. The next significant storm will move in Friday and into next weekend with a chance of showers and thunderstorms with some snow on the backside. Temperatures will stay above average through the week, but dependent on snow cover highs will be in the 40s in snow covered areas this week while other areas will see highs in the 50s with a few 60s possible.
