Above is the chart of temperature departures from average through Monday. Most of the state is about 5° below average for the first 60 days of the year. Dubuque has less snow on the ground and has been warmer than the rest of the state for a number of weeks now, while the western part of the state which has more snowpack has continued to be cooler.
