All of Iowa, Winter Weather

Cold is the Word

Cold NW Winds continue to blow across the state tonight, bringing with it some blowing snow and isolated reduced visibilities and partly covered road conditions. Along with it, a Wind Chill Advisory has been issued from 2am until 9am Wednesday morning for the following counties, Emmet, Kossuth, Winnebago, Worth, Palo Alto, Hancock, Cerro Gordo, Mitchell, Howard, Floyd and Chickasaw. Wind Chill values as low as -25 can be expected in the northern part of the state tonight with actual reading dropping to near or just below zero. Winds will be gusty between 15-20mph throughout the night. Another cold night is in store for Wednesday night and Thursday morning, but the winds will be a lot lighter at that time, but temperatures will be below zero as well.

NOTE: I am back on a normal blogging schedule given some issues that I had over the last few days. Sorry for any problems this may have caused.
