Snow for the South

The ever changing warnings and advisories further to the south have led to much of the northern parts of the state that will recieve little if any snow from this storm system. The Winter Storm Warnings are in effect through Monday in the southern two tiers of counties with Winter WX Advisories along the northern fringe to the north. Amounts are expected to be between 1-2 inches along and north of a Omaha to DSM to Clinton line with 3-6+ inches to the south where the Advisories and warnings are in effect. The storm will move out of the state tomorrow afternoon with drier skies but cool conditions through the middle of next week.
