Snow Looking More Likely Friday

Models are coming together on a snow storm that is going to move into the state later tonight and into Friday. Snowfall amounts from this storm look to be in the 1-3 inch range with the heaviest snow being mostly along the US Hwy 34 corridor, with the lightest being north of US Hwy 20. The snow will end by late Friday night in the west and early Saturday morning in the east. Clouds will remain throughout the weekend before another storm moves in late on Sunday into Monday. Snowfall amounts from this system are too early to tell as the storm is expected to effect mainly Missouri and Illinois, but any changes could move a significant amount of snow into the state for Sunday and Monday.

Temperatures for the next week will remain below average with highs in the 20s and lows in the single digits and teens.
