Get Ready for a Rerun!

Before we get to the snow, let’s talk sunshine. There will be a lot of sunshine today, but temperatures will not warm up a whole lot with readings remaining in the 20s today. Tonight a few clouds will move into the state from the west keeping temperatures there at least above zero whereas farther east temperatures will drop below zero. Thursday will see increasing clouds from west to east, but it will remain dry during the daylight hours. A few flurries or light snow showers will move into the state Thursday night and will last into Friday. Snowfall amounts of 1-3 inches will be possible with this system. Now we get to the rerun, following the storm on Friday, a upper level low will sweep in from the north (similiar to this last storm) and move through the state Saturday into Sunday. Light to moderate snowfall is possible with this system as well, along with strong winds that will likely blow and drift the snow around. Watches, advisories and warnings will likely be issued with this system at that time.
