The Iowa DNR has issued an Air Quality Advisory through Saturday at Noon for most of the state (except the NW). Fine particulate levels near EPA Health Standards are expected to persist across the area through at least midday on Saturday.

THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES RECOMMENDS THAT INDIVIDUALS WITH RESPIRATORY OR HEART DISEASE…THE ELDERLY AND CHILDREN LIMIT PROLONGED EXERTION UNTIL AIR QUALITY CONDITIONS IMPROVE.
